2025 is the year when Gävle Konstcentrum (translated to Gävle Art Center in Sweden) celebrates 40 years. The exhibition brings up newspaper cutouts, posters and art works from the archives, spanning over 40 years. Since there is an actual archive where everything is stored an idea was born.

Gävle is geographically located in what was previous named as county “X” (each county had a letter in the alphabet). And so was the connection established to the incredibly popular TV-series from the 1990’s. Serious in its approach but a healthy dose of humour and self-distance.
